As a researcher, storyteller, and community activator, I help communities and organizations understand how emerging technologies, alternative economic models and social structures, and disruptive media/cultural behavior can be nurtured creating better futures – from the US and Brazil, to Germany and Saudi Arabia.
The work encompasses cultural management & curation, brand strategy, content strategy, innovation/ethnographic research, foresight and speculative futures, business modeling, and public affairs.
My latest project is Peripheral Intuitions, an immersive arts platform and installation using the senses as a way to break away from the zeitgeist of oppressive, homogeneous, over-rationalized dystopia. It was chosen for the Night Embassy residency in 2019 as one of six projects that represent the future of nightlife culture in Berlin.
Previously, I helped launch:
Coliga, a Berlin-based digital tool for communities of freelancers like coworking spaces to create their own decentralized marketplace, receive jobs as a collective, and split the value from jobs completed to support common infrastructure.
House of Genius, the NYC chapters (Brooklyn and Manhattan) of a global series of monthly gatherings bringing together a diverse mix of collaborators to offer disruptive thinking, supportive input, and creative new ideas to projects – for profit and non profit – that need a boost as they launch, expand, or transform.
